We are delighted to announce that two Mudita Foundation projects have been approved for implementation and have received funding from the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Both projects will be carried out this year and focus on strengthening the competencies of youth workers, enabling them to more effectively support young people in the areas of well-being, emotional awareness, and personal development.

Approved projects:

Leaders of Tomorrow – Ikigai Coaching for Youth Development

This project supports youth workers in developing coaching competencies based on the Ikigai concept. Its aim is to strengthen their ability to support young people in discovering purpose, building resilience, and navigating uncertainty.

The main objectives of the project include:

  • developing youth workers’ skills in supporting young people in exploring values and personal and professional direction,

  • equipping youth workers with practical coaching tools that foster emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-confidence,

  • integrating body-based and somatic practices into youth work,

  • building an international network for cooperation and experience sharing among youth workers.


Flying Giraffes: How Nonviolent Communication Can Help Young People Spread Their Wings

This project focuses on strengthening youth workers’ competencies in teaching Nonviolent Communication through innovative, engaging, and play-based methods for working with teenagers.

The main objectives of the project include:

  • developing and testing engaging educational games and activities based on Nonviolent Communication,

  • creating engaging, youth-friendly tools for working with emotions, relationships, and communication,

  • strengthening youth workers’ skills in facilitating workshops and group activities,

  • building a supportive, international network of individuals and organizations working to enhance young people’s emotional well-being.


Both projects are implemented thanks to funding from the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and contribute to the development of high-quality, empathetic, and innovative youth work across Europe. We are very much looking forward to the upcoming activities and to sharing their results with you!
