Erasmus+ Adult Education, 15.09.2025 – 14.03.2027
Embodied Emotional Education is a long-term adult education project aimed at strengthening the competencies of the Mudita Foundation team in working with emotions, the body, and trauma.
Through years of working with emotional intelligence and Nonviolent Communication (NVC), we have increasingly recognized how deeply emotional processes are rooted in the body. Emotional awareness and regulation often involve accessing profound and sometimes painful experiences. This has highlighted the need for our team to develop skills that allow us to work in a safe, sensitive, and embodied way, attuned to both emotional and somatic signals.
The project focuses on developing the competencies of the team in approaches that integrate body-based work, emotional processes, and trauma awareness. As a result, we will be able to provide more comprehensive and effective support to individuals facing emotional, health-related, and social challenges, including marginalized and vulnerable groups.
Throughout the project, we learn and develop practical tools and approaches that enable us to:
- increase team competencies in working with emotions, the body, and trauma
- enhance emotional resilience among participants,
- increase the effectiveness of interventions for people experiencing emotional, health-related, and social difficulties,
- improve access to support for those with limited access to traditional therapy,
- create safe and supportive spaces for embodied emotional learning and growth.
Embodied Emotional Education represents a step toward a more holistic, empathetic, and accessible adult emotional education that truly supports meaningful and lasting improvements in the quality of life.
