By supporting each other’s well-being, we contribute to stronger, thriving communities where everyone can grow and flourish together.
The Story Behind Mudita
Mudita was born from a deep longing for an authentic, peaceful world—one where individuals can embrace their true selves while contributing to the strength of their communities.
The founders of Mudita share a passion for meaningful connections that celebrate diversity and togetherness. They were deeply curious about how personal authenticity can flourish within the context of a supportive, collective environment.
Inspired by the ancient concept of Mudita—the joy in celebrating others’ well-being—they envisioned a space where personal growth and community connection go hand in hand. Today, Mudita empowers individuals to explore their potential, forge meaningful relationships, and contribute to a shared journey of learning and transformation.

Our mission is to foster personal growth that strengthens both individuals and communities. Through innovative programs, educational initiatives, and holistic approach, we provide opportunities for people to develop self-awareness, empathy, and resilience.
By empowering individuals, we contribute to a society where every person matters—a world where genuine care and respect for one another lead the way toward a brighter future.
Our team
SYLWIA FEDERICO
She is an educator and project manager with 25 years of experience in the field of learning and development. Early in her career, she recognized a significant gap between formal schooling and the real-life skills young people need to thrive. Determined to bridge this gap, she dedicated her career to transforming education by integrating social and interpersonal skills into learning, helping young people build confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence. This commitment led her to found Mudita, a foundation focused on creating spaces where people can connect, grow, and develop while nurturing empathic and authentic relationships.
As President of Mudita, she leads with a vision of empowering individuals to lead emotionally resilient, balanced lives. Her passion for personal growth has driven her to deepen her expertise in emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and human development, integrating trauma sensitivity and somatic principles into the foundation’s programs. She is dedicated to shaping a future where well-being and personal growth are central to education and community development.
KATARZYNA PASICIEL
Katarzyna has always believed that every person has untapped potential waiting to be discovered. With the right support and environment, that potential can lead to real personal and collective growth. Seeing the inequalities in the world inspired her to pursue a Master’s in Law, where she gained a deeper understanding of justice, human rights, and the importance of supporting marginalized communities.
Noticing the challenges society faces and a lack of empathy in many spaces, Katarzyna decided to co-create the Mudita Foundation. She wanted to use her legal knowledge to help address these gaps in a more structured and impactful way. As Vice President, she plays a key role in shaping the foundation’s approach, making sure that Mudita’s programs meet both immediate needs and help create lasting, positive change.
Her dream for Mudita is a world where everyone can reach their full potential, and communities grow stronger together. As Vice President, Katarzyna brings her leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to social change to help make this vision a reality.

Within the Body-Mind Centering® approach, movement is the foundation of embodied cognition, integrating sensory, emotional, and intellectual experiences. The body appears as a dynamic ecosystem in which every movement shapes our relationship with the world and ourselves.

She curates and coordinates projects and leads classes, workshops, and training sessions. Her practice integrates Body-Mind Centering®, (eco)somatics, and Nonviolent Communication.
